I remember the Christmas window displays in all the downtown department stores of Washington, D.C. when I was little. They were magical.

It was actually very difficult to get decent shots of the windows - because of lighting conditions and so many other tourists also trying to photograph them! But I was too blown away by their creativity and beauty not to try.
