Love Between Souls

“But let there be spaces in your togetherness and let the winds of the heavens dance between you. Love one another but make not a bond of love: let it rather be a moving sea between the shores of your souls.”Khalil Gibran

I loved this...too often people feel they have to be joined at the hip. I actually feel this in my marriage...my husband seems needy and I need space!

I love this. I love nearly every quote from Khalil Gibran! He seems such an enlightened person. :)

I loved that book. I still give it as gifts. I also loved G-man's comment. Is Galen Gibran Kahlil's cousin?

Sherry, my husband used to be like that too. Fortunately, after almost 20 years together, he's found other interests!

Em & Brian - I don't recall having read this quote before today but the beauty of it's message and imagery really struck me. He really was and enlightened soul.

Yes, G. It's not written yet but I do have my thinking cap on!

Ronda - There's no doubt in my mind that Galen could be Khalil's long lost relation. They're both just so deep and poetic!

Hugs to you too Dulce!
